Just 40 minutes from Arusha town, Arusha National Park is a small but incredibly diverse gem. Home to Mount Meru, the Momella Lakes, and Ngurdoto Crater, the park offers spectacular scenery and varied wildlife — all within a single day. It’s one of the few parks in Tanzania where you can enjoy a walking safari, canoeing, and game drives all in one trip.

08:00 AM – Hotel Pick-up
Meet your driver-guide and depart from your hotel in Arusha
Short 40-minute drive to the park gate
09:00 AM – Park Entry and Game Drive
Begin with a game drive through various habitats (grassland, rainforest, lake shores)
Spot animals like giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks, monkeys, zebras, and more
11:00 AM – Optional Walking Safari
Guided nature walk with a park ranger (up to 2 hours)
Walk near giraffes and learn about plants, birds, and animal tracks
01:00 PM – Picnic Lunch
Lunch at a scenic viewpoint or picnic site overlooking Mount Meru or the crater
02:00 PM – Optional Canoeing (Add-on)
Enjoy a relaxing canoe ride on Momella Lakes
Spot hippos, flamingos, and water birds from the water
03:30 PM – Return to Arusha
Drive back to town
